On May 19, 2024, the National Youth Space Innovation Competition (NYSIC), hosted by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center, Chongqing Education Science Research Institute, and Chongqing Youth Innovation College, and organized by Chongqing Yucai Secondary School with academic support from the Chongqing Astronomical Society, was successfully held at Chongqing Yucai Secondary School.

There are multiple challenges available for participants of the contest. The challenges in the contest include aerospace innovative design challenges, astronautic science research and engineering challenges, aeronautical and astronautical probing challenges, space settlement design challenges, etc. These challenges cover multiple areas of aeronautical and astronautical engineering, and they are especially challenging for teenagers.

As the first and currently the only club that focuses on aeronautics and astronautics in Yucai, Yucai Initial Aeronautics (YCIA) also sends members of our club as participants and volunteers of the contest. We participated in space probing and astronautical engineering related projects. And two club members received the invitation to the national final in September, and they received the bronze prize in the final contest.
